Delka quick release mooring hooks are designed for use on piers, dolphins, quays, and steel platforms. The release hook is a ship mooring equipment that allows the ship to release its mooring lines with a force of 15/30 kg, even under full load conditions, to separate the ship from the berth.

Quick Release Mooring Hooks for ports, terminals and piers
Our company’s quick release mooring hooks are designed for oil, gas, petrochemical, and bulk cargo handling facilities to meet project- or facility-specific requirements.
In the event of a disaster, the release hook can disconnect a tanker’s mooring lines with minimal effort, even under full load conditions. This minimizes damage to the pier and the surrounding area. Re-installing the release hook is a simple process.
Quick Release Mooring Hook Operation and Testing
Quick release mooring hooks can operate at 90° horizontally and 45° vertically.
Re-installing the quick release mooring hook requires a single operation, even when the hooks are fully loaded within the safe working load limit.
All quick release mooring hooks are individually tested at 150% of their safe working load, resulting in a low total cost of ownership and proven long-term durability.

Special Design upon Request
Our quick release mooring hooks are available with a safe working load (SWL) per hook ranging from 50 to 150 tons.
Two quick release mooring hooks are generally preferred, but custom designs with single, triple, quadruple, or multiple back-to-back hooks are also available upon request.
We can design custom hook units upon request. If existing hooks are to be replaced, we can adapt our design to the dimensions of existing anchors.
